Augereau, division general.
The enemy is expelled from the right bank of the Brenta,
and withdraws to Bassano; the Republican troops fight them
before the town, rout them and pursue them until
Citadella; 5,000 or 6,000 prisoners, capture of 5 flags,
45 cannon, a complete pontoon kit, 200 wagons and
big stores in Bassano.
